Michael, better known as “Mike”, was employed at the Tyson Feed Mill where he worked as a rail receiver for 20 years, until his health declined. Mrs. Norma Perkins Jackson was born on January 1, 1936, in Montezuma, Georgia to the late Norman Perkins Sr. and Bessie Sneed Perkins. Norma acquired her education in the public schools of Macon County. She completed high school at the Historic Flint River Farm School and attended Beautician school in Atlanta, Georgia. At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and became a member of Brown Chapel Baptist Church where she was a devout member until moving to Hartford, Connecticut. While in Hartford she met and married Frederick Jackson on November 4, 1967.
The family moved to New Rockford, ND, where she graduated from high school. She attended Interstate Business College in Fargo and after graduation worked for the St. Paul Insurance Company. Danell Dougherty, loving wife, mother, grandmother, passed away on December 13, 2022, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley at home with her family by her side. Danell was born on June 18, 1962 in Breckinridge, MN to Marlyn and Elaine Ordahl. Danell and her family lived in Milnor, Jamestown, Emrick and Fessenden before moving to Beach, ND when Danell was in the 8th grade and where Danell graduated from high school.
